Admission process for few DU courses to begin early this year

The Delhi University is starting its admission process for a few courses early this year. The university has decided to bring out the application forms for its courses in Business Economics (BBE), Business Studies (BBS) and Financial Investment and Analysis (BFIA) on April 1. The forms will be available only online and the last date to fill the forms is May 5.While the forms for most of the other courses are usually available in June, the forms for the business courses are coming out almost two months prior to that. The admission to courses based on class 12 marks is done through a common admission form. However, application forms for those courses in which admission is through an entrance test usually come out early. The entrance test for the three courses is likely to be held on June 2. The centres for examination will be Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Kolkata. From this year onwards, the duration of the undergraduate programmes including the BBE, BBS and BFIA will be four years as opposed to three years till last year. The course in BBS is taught at the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Keshav Mahavidyalaya and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS). There are a total of 275 seats available in the course. BFIA is offered at SSCBS alone and there are 62 seats on offer.
