In an application to special judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal, Singh said he has been undergoing treatment in Singapore following his kidney transplant and needs to go there for regular check-up. In a notice, the court instructed Delhi Police to respond to Singh’s plea by November 3.
Singh, who was undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), was granted bail by the Delhi high court on October 24, on the condition that he shall not leave the country without prior permission of the lower court.
