This was said by the Union minister for roads and highways, Kamal Nath at the formal inauguration of the Badarpur flyover on National Highway-II at Mehrauli Crossing near Badarpur on Monday afternoon.
The 4.4-km flyover, which connects Delhi with Faridabad, was thrown open jointly by Delhi chief minister Sheila Dixit and her Haryana counterpart Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
The Union minister for roads and highways presided over the inauguration ceremony.
“We are in the process of making a project report on Badarpur-Ashram elevated stretch,” the Union minister said.
Delhi chief minister Sheila Dixit said the opening of the much-awaited flyover would further strengthen the ties between Haryana and Delhi.
