In a three-page letter to the home minister P Chidambaram, Bhushan said he was writing to him since the Delhi Police did not give him any information.

“...As you have been overseeing the investigation and you have got the CD sent to the two Central Forensic Science Laboratories (CFSLs) in Delhi and Chandigarh. I am making this request to you,” he wrote.

Bhushan has pointed out that media reports showed the Chandigarh CFSL found the CD to be doctored, but letters written to top police officials, including the Delhi Police Commissioner did not yield any reply.

An audio CD was delivered to various news groups on April 13 containing an alleged conversation between Amar Singh, Bhushan and Mulayam regarding fixing a judge for Rs 4crore.
