The BJP also alleged that the CWG volunteers were not found at the Games venues during the sporting mega event.
"25,000 volunteers (were) hired by the CWG. Crores of rupees (were) spent to hire paid volunteers. Corruption took place in the name of employing volunteers," said a document, titled 'First Information Report (FIR)', party president Nitin Gadkari released at a press conference in New Delhi.
"Contract for paid volunteers (was) given to ruling party workers. Volunteers (were) found across the city but not at the venues/stadia. Crores of rupees corruption took place in the name of employing volunteers," said the BJP's document.
