Harish Chander, hailing from Uttarakhand, was found dead by one of his neighbours at around 7 am at his rented accommodation in south Delhi's Shahpur Jaat. He allegedly consumed some poisonous substance.

Chander was rushed to AIIMS where he was declared brought dead.

The youth was last seen on his balcony by his landlord at around 4:30 am and he had appeared to be tense.

No suicide note was recovered but police suspect that he took the extreme step as he was depressed over a break-up with a colleague.

Police were told that he was in a relationship with a colleague in a Gurgaon call centre where he worked and recently they had broken up. After that, he was apparently depressed.
