CM to undergo surgery for sinus at Fortis

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit was admitted to a city hospital on Thursday. She is expected to undergo a surgery for sinus at the Fortis Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre on Friday.

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit was admitted to a city hospital on Thursday. She is expected to undergo a surgery for sinus at the Fortis Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre on Friday.

According to sources in the hospital, 74-year-old Dikshit was admitted on Thursday evening. “She is stable, there is nothing to worry about as her vital parameters are well under control. It is a minor surgery,” said a source.

The chief minister is a regular at the hospital having undergone angioplasty about six months ago. She had also visited the hospital for a follow up last week.
