Cop suspended for hitting senior

A policeman was arrested after he forcefully entered the house of a police Inspector and picked up a fight with him in Mukherjee Nagar area of northwest Delhi on Sunday night.

A policeman was arrested after he forcefully entered the house of a police Inspector and picked up a fight with him in Mukherjee Nagar area of northwest Delhi on Sunday night.

Head Constable Manohar Singh posted with the fourth battalion of Delhi Police has been suspended after the incident.

Police said the Head Constable went to Inspector Ravinder Sharma's house in Mukherjee Nagar in an inebriated state.

Police added that the two got into a fight after that. A departmental inquiry has also been ordered against the Head Constable. The reason behind the fight is not known.
