Court allows American to be twins' father
A city court has allowed an American citizen's plea that he would be considered as the "legal and biological" father of twins born to a surrogate mother here.

A city court has allowed an American citizen's plea that he would be considered as the "legal and biological" father of twins born to a surrogate mother here.
Allowing the American citizen's plea, Civil Judge Shreya Arora said "I am... of opinion that there is no impediment legal or otherwise in granting the decree as prayed for by the plaintiff”.
The New York-resident moved feared there could be a "presumption under the Indian laws".
