Justice Vipin Sanghi directed the station house officer of Chittaranjan Park police station to provide protection to the woman when she seeks help. The petitioner sought cancellation of the licence issued to her husband. The woman's counsel said she had left her house in C.R. Park, which she co-owned along with her husband, and was now staying at a relative’s house.
She claimed she had lodged a complaint against her husband with the police but no action was taken.
