CRPF DG Vikram Srivastava said that the decision has been taken “after considering the E. Rammohan Committee report and the court of inquiry conducted by the CRPF.”
Besides 42-year-old Prabhat, a 1993 batch IPS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, the other two officials who have been sent out are Commandant A.K. Bisht and Inspector Sanjeev Bangre, he said.
While Prabhat will be joining in Chandigarh, a charge he was already holding, Bisht has been moved to a training centre in Orissa. Bangre has been shifted to Anantnag in Kashmir.
