Delhi: 57-year-old private tutor arrested for sex acts with minor boys

A 57-year-old private tutor has been arrested by the central Delhi police for allegedly sexually exploiting his 15-year-old, Class 9 male student and indulging in indecent acts with three other minor boys at his house in New Rajinder Nagar. HT reports.

A 57-year-old private tutor has been arrested by the central Delhi police for allegedly sexually exploiting his 15-year-old, Class 9 male student and indulging in indecent acts with three other minor boys at his house in New Rajinder Nagar.

The matter came to light on Wednesday after a team from the Rajinder Nagar police station, along with parents of the children, raided home of the accused and allegedly caught him indulging in unnatural sexual acts.

The accused has been identified as Sudhir Kumar Goyal. The suspect lives with his wife who was away at the time of the raid. Police said eight more minor boys, aged between 12 and 15, were present at Goyal’s house.

Sources said Goyal was attempting unnatural sex with the Class 9 student in front of the other three students.

Goyal was arrested after a case under the sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, was registered against him.

A police officer said the victims in their statement alleged that Goyal lured them on the pretext of giving them cold drinks, sweets and free tuition.
