Delhi Metro records highest ridership on Monday

The Delhi Metro recorded its highest ridership on Monday with over 12 lakh commuters using the modern transport system.

The Delhi Metro recorded its highest ridership on Monday with over 12 lakh commuters using the modern transport system.

According to a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) spokesperson, a total of 1,205,898 people used the metro service.

While about 588,975 commuters used the Dwarka Sector 9-Noida City Centre (Line 3) and Yamuna Bank-Anand Vihar corridor (Line 4) stretch, 321,889 people rode Central Secretariat-Jahangirpuri line (Line 2).

About 11.34 lakh passengers used the metro service May 24.
