Delhi Metro's yellow line snag has been rectified and the traffic got back to normal plying from 11:36 am today.

Earlier, a train got stuck on the tracks of Delhi Metro's Yellow Line at the peak of Tuesday rushhour, causing massive bunching of trains in the line forcing authorities to shut the line down for the time being.
The train got stuck between the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhavan stations. Initial phonecalls from panicked commuters led to rumours that there were two trains that had been running on the same track. Authorities however maintain that the the train stalled due to a technical snag developed on the train.
Meanwhile, the massive pile up of trains on the track caused by the stuck train has led to the shutting down of both directions of the line. It is expected that normal running of trains will resume only after an hour.
As of now, panicked commuters are being evacuated from the train through the tracks. The exact reasons behind the stalling are yet to be ascertained.
