Delhi sees hot Sunday, no change on Monday

It was another hot day for Delhi today with the maximum temperature settling at 43.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above average for this time of the year. There is no respite from the scorching heat in sight with similar weather expected tomorrow.

It was another hot day for Delhi on Sunday with the maximum temperature settling at 43.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above average for this time of the year. There is no respite from the scorching heat in sight with similar weather expected on Monday.

"The sky will be clear on Monday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 42 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

While the minimum temperature on Sunday settled two notches above average at 29.3 degrees, the humidity wavered between a high and low of 44 and 21%.
