"The skies will remain mainly clear on Saturday and the weather will be dry over the region with no rain," an official at the meteorological office at Safdarjung here told IANS.
While the maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 41.8 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature stood at 27 degrees Celsius. The temperature is likely to be the same on Saturday. The humidity was recorded to be 56 per cent.
The capital had received 0.1 mm rainfall early in the week, bringing down the average day temperature to 33.4 degrees Celsius, eight notches below the normal for this time of year.
