The editorial piece in the latest issue argues that all terror outfits claim responsibility for wider publicity of their cause, and since no such claims have been made from Hindus, there is nothing like Hindu terror.

"Every terror outfit projects an objective as its raison d'etre; this is absolutely essential for it to draw adherents, sympathisers and collect funds … All the infamous terror outfits - the LeT, IM, HuJI, SIMI, Hizbul Mujahideen, LTTE, Ulfa, Maoists and others - continue to exist in public view in this fashion," the editorial reasons.

"There has been no instance of any Hindu organisation boasting credit for a terror strike…No outfit has claimed to work underground to advance a Hindu agenda."

Terror, the edit adds, has no religion and investigation agencies are indulging in "advance propaganda" of "so-called confessions of Swami Aseemanand" rather than preparing a "fool-proof chargesheet".

"More intriguing is that only the persons named in Hindu radicalism seem to be making confessions..."

The editorial hits out at the Congress for the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. It also accuses Mamata Bannerjee of Maoist links. The piece ends with a plea to spare the Hindu of terror charges.

RSS supporters also held a protest in the Capital against "misuse" of probe agencies and selective media leaks.
