A Delhi Jal Board water tanker ran over and killed a six-year-old girl in central Delhi on Saturday. Police said Shalu was crossing the road with her neighbour in Anand Parbat around 9:45 am when the accident took place.
“A speeding tanker hit her from behind, killing her on the spot,” said a police officer. Police said her mother had sent her to purchase some vegetables from the adjacent wholesale vegetable market. The driver has been apprehended and a case registered. htc
