The police have arrested three men who had allegedly supplied the psychotropic drug LSD to US-based NRI Anmol Sarna and his four friends on September 13.

Their interrogation will now help the police to bust the entire organised network through which LSD is smuggled into the national capital region and then supplied to youngsters. Nine people have been arrested in this case so far.
Dushyant Lamba, Mehul and Bhuvan, all aged 21, were arrested from different places in Noida following raids conducted at their hideouts by different teams on Thursday.
While Lamba is said to be the drug supplier, the other two are B.Com and BBA students of prominent colleges and acted as middlemen between Lamba and Sarna and his friends.
The arrests came after the interrogation of Sarna’s four friends who were arrested under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. They allegedly disclosed that Sarna, Shivang Gambhir, and Madhav Bhandari had purchased LSD for `7,000 at Noida’s Sector-18 on September 11.
The party was planned on September 3 and all five had contributed `1,500 each for five strips of LSD, police said.
“During interrogation, Gambhir and Bhandari said that they came in touch with Lamba through Mehul and Bhuvan whom they knew for some years. The arrests took time as Gambhir and Bhandari had no idea about their addresses,” the officer said.
