Arvind Kumar, head of placement at LSR, said, “Over 50 companies come here to select our students for various jobs. This year, HSBC has offered our students packages averaging Rs.15 lakhs a year. The results of the interview are still to come.” These salaries, which only an MBA degree holder could manage, are up for grabs for undergrads well. Starting salaries ranging from Rs 3 lakhs to Rs 15 lakh are being offered to students.

This year six SRCC students have been offered Rs 14 lakh annual pay packages by Lehmann Brothers. Ayesha Jaggi, a BCom Honours third year student, who has been offered a position as an analyst by the company, said: “We were chosen after passing a rigorous process. We were given puzzles to solve.” The top two positions in the chartered accountants entrance test have also been notched up by SRCC graduates Sanjhi Aggarwal and Parul Goyal.
