According to the letter written by RK Singh to the Registrar (a copy of which is with the Hindustan Times), it was his fellow teachers at SRCC who had escorted Bohidar out of the auditorium. The letter was sent to the Registrar on Monday.

He had earlier alleged that he had been manhandled by the vice chancellor's guards as he had asked for permission to speak. "I stood up before the Vice-Chancellor started his address and had politely and barely uttered "May I take a minute?" when bouncers accompanying Singh rushed towards me and kept violently pushing me out even though I offered no resistance. This carried on till I was out of the auditorium," Bohidar said.
