Unidentified men burgled a retired petroleum ministry official's house in south Delhi and decamped with cash and jewellery worth around Rs 20 lakh, police said on Tuesday.

The incident was reported from Vasant Kunj at 2 pm from the residence if Rakesh Verma (65), who retired from the petroleum ministry and lives with his wife. Verma and his family had on Sunday gone to attend the marriage ceremony of one of their relatives in Gurgaon and returned this afternoon only to find the house burgled.
