Most consumer goods stalls might be getting a lukewarm response during the business visitors' days but the foreign jewellery stalls have become an instant hit with the visitors.

The jewellery and gems stalls of countries like Myanmar, China, Thailand and Turkey among others are attracting huge footfall.
"I bought a Rs 400 ticket just to shop as there's no rush during the business visitors' days. All varieties of jewellery, stones and gems are available under one roof. There can't be better opportunity for a shopaholic like me," said Richa Anand, a housewife, who had come to shop with her kids.
Out of all jewellery stalls, Myanmar stood apart in the variety. "Burmese gemstone jewellery is one of its kinds and it is also not that expensive. On the second day of the fair, we have got a very encouraging response from the visitors. The coming days are going to be very good for our business," said a Burmese exhibitor who is participating in the trade fair for the first time.
"People don't mind paying Rs 400 for a ticket to shop during the business visitors' days as there's not much crowd and shoppers get a large variety of products. Basically, it's a hassle free shopping experience for people coming for bulk shopping," said a senior ITPO official.
