Former AG Milon K Banerji dies
Former Attorney General Milon Kumar Banerji passed away this morning at Apollo hospital, family sources said.

Former Attorney General MilonKumar Banerji passed away this morning at Apollo hospital, family sources said.
The former AG had suffered a stroke in December 2009 and since then he was not keeping well, they said.
Banerji breathed his last around 3:30 am at the hospital this morning. He was 82.
His last rites will be performed tomorrow evening at Lodhi Road electric crematorium. He is survived by two sons who are also practising advocates.While his elder son Bebal Banerji is a senior advocate practising in Calcutta High Court and the Supreme Court, the younger son Gourav Banerji is the Additional Solicitor General.
