A red coloured air-conditioned DTC bus, carrying delegates of Commonwealth Games, lost its way near the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium.

The bus driver who was following the dedicated lane strayed when he reached the Lodhi road intersection.
Instead of taking a turn towards the stadium, he drove on and reached the India Habitat Centre.
“Despite instructions to use the dedicated lane, the driver lost his way. He stopped the bus near the India Habitat Centre and asked a traffic constable for help. It could have turned into a major security scare,” said a senior police officer.
In another incident, four Games buses had to take alternate route when a private bus caught fire near the Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal around 4 p.m. on Thursday. The police said the driver was not even aware that the private bus, fitted with a CNG kit, had caught fire. He was informed by a policeman. At least 20 office goers were present in the bus.
"Due to this, the dedicated Games lane leading to the Barapullah elevated road was obstructed," said a senior police officer.
