History
Founded by the DAV College managing committee on July 25, 1948, Hans Raj is a constituent college of Delhi University. The college was founded in memory of Mahatma Hans Raj, a pioneer in the field of education. This is one of the best among the 700 DAV institutes.

College is located close to the Bungalow Road. Mudrika-bound buses: 982, 152, 100, 816, 1212, 114, 912, 234, 108 and 26. Even Metro's yellow line is an easy route to reach college.

Preferred Subjects
Commerce, History and English. Hans Raj is the only college that provides Geology (Hons). Media, Journalism and Hindi linguistics taught in Hindi department are also noted.
