The Delhi High Court on Thursday allowed a woman to live with her husband and restrained her relatives, including the father who is a Delhi Police constable, from harassing her for marrying a person from a different caste.

Allowing Goldi, who was detained by her parents, to move to her matrimonial house, the court directed the police to provide protection to the couple who married five years ago.

She had expressed fear that she and her husband would be harassed by the police as her father and some other relatives are employed with Delhi and UP Police, respectively.
