The International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) sets global benchmarks in quality care.
So far, the hospital standards of only 11 countries - Australia, Canada, Egypt, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Jordan, the Kyrgyz Republic, South Africa, Taiwan and the UK - have been accredited by ISQua.
India is the 12th country to join this group, when ISQua accredited the Standards for Hospitals developed by NABH, India, as being in consonance with its global benchmarks.
