Kidnapped child rescued, two arrested

The Delhi Police have rescued a three-year-old child, who was kidnapped from north Delhi's Adarsh Nagar area, and arrested two persons in connection with the case.

The police said the complainant, Ghanshyam Bhagat, a resident of Azadpur, had informed them on October 13 that his son Krishan had gone to purchase biscuits from a nearby shop but did not return.

One person told him that he had seen his son with his relative Pankaj Bhagat and a juvenile. It was found that Bhagat who was residing near the house of the complainant as a tenant hatched the plan to repay Rs 20,000 that he had borrowed from Ghanshayam.
