MUZAFFARNAGAR: Three family members of a Delhi police subinspector committed suicide by jumping before a moving train at the Budhana road railway crossing in Shamli late on Monday night.

S-I Krishan Pal’s 45-year-old wife Munesh, his 23-year-old son Dheeraj Kumar and 21-year-old daughter Luna had been missing for three days and an FIR had been lodged in this regard with the Kashmere Gate police station.

Some people spotted their bodies on the railway track around 11 pm on Monday.On Tuesday morning, the police posted the photographs of the deceased on the social media as their identities could not be established till that time.

Sub- inspector Jitendra Baliyan, posted at Masoori police station of Ghaziabad, contacted the Shamli police and disclosed the identities of the three deceased.
