They took her in and gave her a place to stay behind their two-storey bungalow in Maharani Bagh. Seema started taking care of the child.

From the first day, she used to take Ishaan to a small park near the family's residence in I-block at 5.30pm on his stroller and return around 7.30pm.

But on Sunday, Seema disappeared with the child after her stroll. The Singhs don't have a clue as to what happened to their child. The police are also confused, since the parents have not received any ransom calls so far.

Virender Singh Chahal, joint commissioner of police (southeast), was tight-lipped about Ishaan's family but sources said his father, Vikram Singh, 30, deals in lighting accessories in Khan Market and also has a manufacturing unit. "We have gone through the belongings that she left behind, but have not been able to get any clues," Chahal said.
