Man held for ATM card fraud

A 24-year-old man, who holds an MBA degree from the UK’s London University, was arrested for cloning and subsequently misusing the ATM card of a sub-divisional magistrate in southeast Delhi, police said on Thursday.

A 24-year-old man, who holds an MBA degree from the UK’s London University, was arrested for cloning and subsequently misusing the ATM card of a sub-divisional magistrate in southeast Delhi, police said on Thursday.

Mukul Garg, who hails from Ludhiana in Punjab, was apprehended from Dr Mukherjee Nagar following investigations into a case, filed by Hauz Khaz SDM Pravesh Ranjan Jha at the Greater Kailash police station, on May 26.

Garg had withdrawn cash amounting to at least R4lakh through a cloned ATM card, and has been found to have been involved in a case of cheating in Saket in February.
