The minimum was recorded at 9.6 degree Celsius, up from Sunday's 8.7 degree Celsius. The season's lowest of 8.6 degree Celsius was recorded on Saturday.

"Snowfall in higher reaches of Himachal and Kashmir valley has brought down the temperature in New Delhi," said a Met official.

The maximum and minimum is likely to hover around 27 and ten degree Celsius respectively on Tuesday.

Saturday's minimum, which was two degrees below the normal level of temperature at this point of time, was the lowest for the month of November in the past three years.

In 2008, the lowest was nine degrees C recorded on November 25 while in 2007, it was 9.6 degrees C on November 23. The record for 2006 was 7.3 degree C on November 29.
