A 26-year-old man, working as a sales executive with a multi-national company in Gurgaon was arrested from Connaught Place with 6.16gm heroin. The police said that the accused, identified as Krishan Kumar, was carrying drugs in 90 different packets, which he used to supply to students.

“Kumar, son of an Army officer, lives in Janakpuri in west Delhi and was arrested after a tip-off. He has revealed the names of two men from whom he used to procure drugs. Kumar is also pursuing B.Com through correspondence and is in touch with the students. The drug was meant for the students only,” a senior police officer said.
The accused told the police that in order to earn quick money, he started supplying heroin in several areas of the Capital and was in the business for the past five years. Kumar had earlier been arrested by the Himachal Pradesh Police for drug peddling.
