The maximum temperature recorded in Delhi was at Palam where the mercury touched 44.4 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded was 32 degrees Celsius.
For Friday, the met department has predicted thundery developments in the evening. "It would be a partly cloudy sky on Friday and thundery conditions could develop in the evening. The weekend is going to be hot for the Capital and there are no signs of rains," said a senior met officer.
