Another body of an elderly woman was also recovered from a drain near Sector 40. According to the police, the bodies have not been identified.

"The body recovered from Sector 122 was badly burnt. It has been sent for post-mortem. It appears that she was killed somewhere and the body was dumped here. It was burnt to hide the identity. Even the residents of nearby villages could not identify the body," said V.C. Tripathi, Deputy Superintendent of Police.

"The woman whose body was recovered from the drain appears to be around 60 years old. There were no injury marks on her body. It seems she fell into the drain and drowned," said Rajesh Kumar, SHO, Sector 39 police station.
