Sale, purchase in colonies on fast track

Delhi urban development and revenue minister Arvinder Singh today announced that the government would soon start the process of denotifying acquired land in unauthorised colonies to help open sale and purchase in the area.

Officials said that it is all set to regularize the extended lal dora land and regulate Rule 81 of Delhi Land reforms Act (1954) that refrain villagers to use agriculture land for any other purpose. "To give relief to the residents of unauthorized colonies and urbanized villages, we are planning to soon review the issuing of no objection certificate (NoC) — Land Status Report for registration of sale in transfer of properties in unauthorized colonies and extended Lal Doras," said Singh.
