Sexual abuse: Delhi govt to oversee Arya orphanage functioning
The Delhi Government on Tuesday appointed a social activist and a senior official to oversee functioning of a privately-run orphanage where a number of children were allegedly sexually abused.

In the wake of the allegations, government had last week appointed a senior official as administrator at the Arya Orphanage in Central Delhi to oversee its functioning.
"Eminent social activists Mamta Shahai and deputy director in Women and Child Welfare department Suchi Sehgal will assist the administrator in running the orphanage," a senior official said.
He said a group of 15 officials would also oversee the welfare of children in the orphanage.
Police has already arrested four persons in connection with the alleged sexual abuse on children in the orphanage.
The government had appointed senior official P P Dhal as administrator of the orphanage last week.
