Shopkeeper killed after tiff over paying for juice

A 28-year-old youth allegedly murdered the owner of a juice shop in northwest Delhi on Sunday after a tiff over payment.

A 28-year-old youth allegedly murdered the owner of a juice shop in northwest Delhi on Sunday after a tiff over payment.

Praveen, from Palla village near Narela, had bought juice at Saleem’s shop. He, however, refused to pay for it. This sparked an argument with the shopkeeper, police said.

The accused went home and returned with a knife, which he used to seriously wound Saleem, police said. The victim died at a hospital after some time.

Praveen was arrested and was booked under Section 302 of the IPC.
