Staff shortage hits feeder bus service

Feeder bus service from Badarpur metro station to Faridabad has been called off owing to shortage of manpower and loss of revenue, said Haryana Roadways officials.

The step, as expected, has not gone down well with the residents of Faridabad and the daily metro commuters. “We had to stop the feeder bus service due to loss of revenue and shortage of staff,” said

J.S. Ahlawat, officiating General Manager of Haryana Roadways, adding that “the state government is in the process of appointing new drivers and conductors.”

The bus service was introduced in the city soon after metro services touched Badarpur last year.
