Rejecting Kumar’s application for certain important documents — including the statements of witnesses — to be placed in court, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Lokesh Kumar Sharma said the former Delhi MP was using this as an excuse to further hinder the court from sending the cases to the sessions court for trial.

He directed Kumar and the other co-accused to appear before the special judge on March 27.

Kumar’s counsel, I.U. Khan, said the CBI had failed to supply the documents, necessary for the just decision of the court.
