Talks with Pak depend on end to cross-border terror: India

India said talks with Pakistan will depend on the fulfilment of commitment by the latter in ending cross-border terrorism. “Pakistan has been giving commitments... the last commitment was as recent as this year. And if they don’t stand by them, then they are at fault as to where the talks lie,” Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur told reporters in New Delhi.

“Pakistan has been giving commitments... the last commitment was as recent as this year. And if they don’t stand by them, then they are at fault as to where the talks lie,” Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur told reporters in New Delhi.

She said “cross-border terrorism has never really stopped. And this is a point we continually take up and I don’t think we have ever left that because security and integrity of the country is foremost before everything else”.
