TC denies reports of Mukherjee seeking explanation from Mamata
Trinamool Congress today dubbed reports that Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has asked party chief Mamata Banerjee to explain her reported open support to Maoists at a rally in West Bengal recently as "figment of imagination".

Trinamool Congress on Sunday dubbed reports that Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has asked party chief Mamata Banerjee to explain her reported open support to Maoists at a rally in West Bengal recently as "figment of imagination".
"It is a figment of imagination... what letter? By whom? For whom?," Trinamool leader and Union minister Dinesh Trivedi told reporters in New Delhi.
He blamed the media for "creating" the news and seeking reactions from politicians.
Main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party has asked the government to come clean on Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee's reported open support to Maoists at the Lalgarh rally earlier this week.
