The city gets photogenic

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Today, on the occasion of World Photography Day, HT City asks some Delhi-based photographers about their favourite spot in the town where they love to click. They also tell us why these areas are their favourite.

Kabeer Lal
The spirit of Delhi is best captured in the hustle bustle of the Old city. I love to go to Jama Masjid during the wee hours of morning to get nice pictures. The sun setting behind the Mosque is also one of my favourite shots.
Manav Maini
The city is known for its baolis (water wells). My favourite is the Agrasen ki Baoli near Connaught Place. The look of awe on a person’s face as he enters the well is worth capturing.
Ravi Dhingra
Nizamuddin Dargah is like a different city altogether. The path that leads to the mosque, with shops selling scarves and offerings, and the vibrant colours and qawwali are all captivating sights to capture.
Shubhra Chaturvedi
The charm of old-world architecture at Connaught Place, juxtaposed with modern-age buildings is the perfect representation of the city to me. That’s why I love to click the inner and outer circle.
