The Delhi traffic police may also close a part of or the entire C-Hexagon for general traffic, from time to time.

The traffic police have made elaborate traffic diversion and restriction plans to provide smooth access to teams heading to the National Stadium, the venue for the hockey extravaganza.

Officers said the C-Hexagon may get congested in the evenings.

“We will start imposing traffic restrictions at C-Hexagon on experimental basis from February 26 between 8 pm and 10 pm,” a senior traffic police officer said.

Police have also issued an advisory related to parking of vehicles for people coming over to watch hockey matches.

Ordinary spectators can park their vehicles on the Zoo parking at Mathura Road and the Bhairon Road Parking.

High denomination ticket holders will have to park their vehicles at Central Vista, on the south side of Rajpath.

Accredited guests, on the other hand, will have to park their vehicles on the north side of Rajpath.
