Victim’s family files complaint
The father of 19-year-old Rahul Anand who died in an accident on the Gurgaon Expressway on March 7 filed a criminal complaint on Thursday.
The father of 19-year-old Rahul Anand who died in an accident on the Gurgaon Expressway on March 7 filed a criminal complaint on Thursday.

He has accused officials of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and concessionaire company DSC Ltd of criminal negligence causing death of his son. The complaint was submitted at DLF City (Phase II) police station.
Later, the aggrieved father, K.S. Anand, and his relatives met the Gurgaon police commissioner seeking early filing of the FIR.
Anand’s lawyer Pankaj Sharma said he would also move the Punjab & Haryana High Court against the same organisations next week.
Terming the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway a ‘death trap’ for commuters, K.S. Anand said commuters on this stretch had died because of lack of adequate safety measures adopted by NHAI and DSC.
Gurgaon police commissioner S S Deswal assured the aggrieved father and his relatives of stern action.
