Viru to teach Delhiites Metro manners
Apart from representing Delhi in the ongoing IPL, cricketers Virender Sehwag and Umesh Yadav will now teach Delhiites Metro etiquettes.
Apart from representing Delhi in the ongoing IPL, cricketers Virender Sehwag and Umesh Yadav will now teach Delhiites Metro etiquettes.

The cricketers would help raise awareness among the Metro commuters about basic manners for commuting through Metro such as keeping the trains and platforms clean, not obstructing trains' doors and standing behind the yellow line at platforms.
"In an effort to create awareness among Metro passengers, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has tied up with the Delhi Daredevils. Apart of this association, the star cricketers of the team will feature in a number of audio visual awareness messages pertaining to issues like passenger safety, travel in ladies coach, etc," said Anuj Dayal, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation spokesman.
Delhi Daredevils coach Eric Simmons and Robin Bisht would also appear in the awareness campaigns.
As lots of people will be coming to watch IPL matches to be held at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, an exclusive kiosk will also be made operational inside the facility during match days, where spectators can easily purchase Delhi Metro's 'Tourist Smart Card' for unlimited ride in the Metro.
Delhi Metro has also permitted GMR Group to sell IPL match tickets from its five prominent Metro stations such as Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Pragati Maidan, Janakpuri West and Netaji Subhash Place.
