Delhiites were seen in lighter woollens on Saturday with the minimum temperature rising to 11.1 degree Celsius.

Saturday's minimum was three degrees above normal and up from Friday's 9.6 degree Celsius. The city has experienced the warmest day of this winter on Friday with maximum touching 28.4 degree Celsius, six degrees above normal.

The weatherman has predicted similar weather conditions for Sunday with the temperature oscillating between 11 and 29 degree Celsius.

According to MeT statistics, the record for the highest maximum for the month of February was 34.1 deg C -- recorded on the 26th of 2006. The record minimum is 1.6 deg C recorded on 9th in 1982.

In the last decade, the minimum dropped below 5 deg C twice. In 2002, the minimum dropped to 2.9 deg C on February 2, while it dropped to 3.7 deg C on February 4, 2001.
