Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Saturday said that Team Anna's campaign for lokpal bill needs to be tackled electorally.

Gandhi told party office bearers that they must work for Congress party's victory in upcoming assembly polls and to increase number of seats in Uttar Pradesh, according to CNN IBN.

She was speaking during a meeting with the Congress general secretaries in New Delhi.

The Congress president has also told the party general secretaries that winning the assembly polls would be people's answer to Anna Hazare's campaign.

"Congress' win in the assembly polls will be a befitting answer to Anna Hazare,"Gandhi was quoted as saying.
