Woman stabbed to death
A 24-year-old woman was stabbed to death right outside the house she was staying in East Patel Nagar area in Central Delhi. The police suspect it is a case of love affair gone wrong.
A 24-year-old woman was stabbed to death right outside the house she was staying in East Patel Nagar area in Central Delhi. The police suspect it is a case of love affair gone wrong.
According to police, the incident happened around 10:45 pm on Thursday night. The deceased, Kavita, was pursuing a Company Secretary course in the Capital.
The police said that she was staying alone as a paying guest in a bungalow in the area. The police said that the assailant inflicted multiple stab wound injuries. The police said that the caretaker at the bungalow called the police.
“We suspect the assailant was known to the victim,” said a senior police officer on condition of anonymity.
DCP (Central) Jaspal Singh said “We have identified the suspect but cannot name him right now.”
